Chicano Park – 1955 Logan, San Diego

The War on Drugs has produced painful consequences in both Mexico and the United States, leaving a trail of death, pain and corruption in its path. The Movement for Peace and Justice will begin its North American tour in San Diego on Aug. 12 and will travel along a route of more than 25 cities in one month, bringing a message of peace, with the understanding that we are all part of the same human family.

Join All of Us or None-SD, A New PATH, Border Angels, Global Exchange and community partners for an evening of music and testimonials from both sides of the border, as well as special guest speakers. This event, which is open to the public, will also include a candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the drug war.
